New member here from so cal, I'm thinking about buying a vstar 1300 in the next couple days. I'm 5'4 with a 28" inseam and am wondering if anyone else here is short and rides one of these bikes. A lot of cruisers I've test rode have my legs almost fully extended to sit on the floor boards and I really have to reach to shift.

Welcome from NW Arkansas! I've got a 30" inseam and have no problems on my vstar 1100. It even has extended foot controls

Welcome from Atlantic Canada. I can't help you with the 1300 but I'm 5'9" and I fit perfectly on my 1100.

Welcome from Houston, Texas. I also have a 30 inch inseam and no issues on 1100. I've owned many bikes with higher seats than the Vstar line and always adapted to each bike without issues. You really only feel the weight of a bike when stopped. Another thing to remember that the Vstar bikes are very easy to lower if needed. Here's a few interesting threads to check out when you get a chance.

Welcome from East Tennessee. Where in SoCal are you from? I grew up in San Gabriel Valley. You shouldn’t have any issues with a 1300, and as our buddy les said, the Vstars are easy to lower if needed. Be sure to post some pics if you get the 1300.

Well guys it's no so much anout the height of the bike but rather the foot controls. I feel like I'll be completely stretched out on the bike
