My name is cheebz, I own a 2010 vstar 650 custom. This is my first bike ever and looking to do work on it myself. I hope to get some pointers and answers to some general questions I have.

Welcome Cheebz. Im sure your real proud of that RED 650 of yours. The drag bars set off the cafe racer style fairing with a retro look that can't be matched. Pics of your bike would prove this ;). I onve rode in your part of the country. The tall palm trees and tumble weed was real sceenic.

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up

Welcome Cheebz! Like the others said pics are a big deal here. There an old saying, "Pics or it didn't happen" so post some up quick and everyone will chill. All kidding aside, the folks here are great and a lot of fun to hang out with. You'll be glad you joined.

That is a beautiful bike - really love the airbrush work! :D

This is just our way of asking for pics - so post some up for us and we'll go away (for a while).

Welcome!
I will post some pics of the bike as soon as I get it out of storage. Anyone who knows south Dakota knows that winters here can last till April. As soon as the weather clears up there will be pics

Was looking through pics on my computer and came across a pic my wife took when I first got my bike. It's a 2010 vstar 650 midnight custom. Will put more up to date pic with the few changes I've made once this 12 inches of snow that we are getting melts.

That is a beautiful area to ride, but I'm on the complete opposite side of the state. Nothing but flatness and cornfields for miles upon miles. Which is OK too, just means you can ride faster for longer, as long as you can stand the smell of cow ****.
