Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd make an introduction.
After almost 2 years without riding when the old faithful Virago breathed its last breath, my wife and I finally got a new bike, our pristine 2002 V-Star 1100 Silverado. We bought it in February, but since it's not really riding weather in northern Wisconsin that time of year, it had to sit at the dealer. We've had a bout of "nice" weather this past week, so we decided to pick it up and ride it home this past Tuesday. The high temp for the day made it up to 34 degrees, but it wasn't too bad riding; I'm thinking the adrenaline that was flowing probably helped! We're looking at temps in the upper 40s this next week with some vacation time coming, so hopefully we'll be able to add to the 48 miles we've put on the bike so far!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to everyone. This forum is excellent and hope to gain a lot of useful knowledge from it. Ride safe!
