hi everyone
Just got myself a '97 royal star tour classic with supposedly 54,000kms on the speedo no service records to go by but it looks great.
Have been looking at the forum for the last couple of weeks thought I would join up and see if there are other royal star riders in this part of the world, I noticed in some threads that there are a
Gen.1 and Gen2 models can someone tell me what years these are.
still have a FJR1300 06 in desert sand color in the shed and may yet have to part with it the reason I have chosen to start riding the cruiser is that speed limits and enforcments seem to make the FJR
a little boring to ride. bought the bike privately sth of Melb and rode it back to Adelaide the next day was 836kms only 1 major stop at Ballarat and the rest were just slash and dash and really enjoyed the ride. hope to see anyone in this part of the world on the road.
