I’m in Moncton, well across the river in Riverview.

It's a small world. Hugh Goldie is his name. Scottish guy, like me. He's an engineer, recently retired. Like I said, plays bagpipes. I don't know why I'm telling you this, there's probably millions of people live in Moncton. But when I'm overseas and I say I live in Australia, I always get: Oh do you know my brother, he lives in (wherever - but probably a few thousand miles away).

Haha. We get that in Canada too. Moncton is a small city of maybe 100,000. There are only 800,000 in New Brunswick so millions is a bit of an exaggeration lol. There was a guy who used to play bagpipes at a gazebo in the waterfront park in Riverview. Not sure if that’s your buddy or not. I haven’t seen him there in a while though. Being this close to Nova Scotia bagpipes aren’t as rare as you might think so it could be someone else.
