I bought a brand new V Star Classic in 07. Loved the bike,
was going to keep it forever. Got creamed at 3000 miles.
Now, years later, finally got a 2003 V Star 1100 Classic. Love it SOOOO much more, for the power, accessories available. Had the ridiculous emissions plumbing removed at a dealership. Had a local upholsterer redo the seats with denser foam and got rid of the ridiculous "studs"; $300 for both seats. MUCH cheaper than a Mustang, Corbin, etc...and well worth the money. Stock was too soft.
Now I want to put the upper pipe on the left side of the bike, like God intended pipes to be. Any thoughts on this winter project? And help is appreciated.
