The OEM installation guide gave me a choice of HIGH beam OR else LOW beam passing lamps. I want BOTH. Is there any EASY way to do this, or must I run a new power lead from the ignition switch to the headlight housing?
Crazy me. I would have thought that Yamaha would run 12 volts to the headlight and then use the dimmer switch to alternate the ground connection from one filament to the other. No. They run GROUND to the headlight and use the dimmer switch to direct the hot wire to one filament of the other. NOT REAL SMART.
