Lol... Considering how many of the regulars on this forum are total pic fanatics I somehow think you need to find another reason Sugar :D

wow. this got more votes in 6 hours than most BOTM contests get in 6 days. i wish all you guys would vote as often for bikes of the month.
I usually just RIDE my bikes. I don't waste much time taking pictures of them (except my S40, when I posted the pictures to Craigslist). Since I don't waste time or money on customizing, a standard factory stock shot is all I need.

I put 5,000, but I could never be sure. I only put about 300 miles on my current bike, about 300 miles on an old 49cc scooter (them's hard miles!), but a vast majority of my miles were off-road on dirt bikes. No way to tell how many actual miles I rode, so I will guess 5k.

At the current rate I am riding, I should put about 12K per year on my bike. Next year we plan to ride PCH from Santa Monica to Washington State and back, so it will be a lot more.

surprised how many of you have at least 250,000 miles. i've had my driver's license for 16 years and don't have that many miles logged driving cars yet.
Wow, I guess it's all the commuting 70-80 miles to work that puts the miles on mine. Want to live in the country and have to drive to where the jobs are.

Ya, in all fairness you have to take in to consideration us elderly people that rode to and fro, that worked construction back in the 70s and 80s, when job sites where spread out all over southern Ca into Imperial county and up to northern LA. All I had for the first 15 years of having a license was motorcycles. No Car. No supper slabs back then either. I averaged 35K to 50k miles per year juts to and from work, then you add the fun rides you can probobly add another 25k. Multiply that times 15. I'm 57 years old and retired now so there is no more to and fro but we still average 12,000 miles a year on the bikes, and half the year there is too much snow to go out on the bikes. I think we have already put 5k miles on the bikes since the snows have melted, since late Marc, and that's just local riding. Put 2,200 miles in the last 60 days. 800 of that was a weekend ride to Tahoe which is only 300 miles from hear.
I did stop riding for a number of years but I'm sure I logged close to if not more than a million miles before I stopped. And that's not counting all the riding I did from the time I was 7 years old till I got a license and started riding street bikes.

I rode a bunch back in the day (70's and 80's) several years of over 10k miles each. Quit riding for 20+ years and got back into it this past January. Logged about 9k so far this year and loving it.

I work in a remote area where everyone who isn't hillbilly drives at least 30 miles one way to work (I drive 40 myself). If you commute with your ride I can see the miles racking up pretty quickly. Not as quickly as the truck I used to drive (125,000 miles per year) but 25,000 is nothing to bark at just for the commute. Car lots also are littered with two year olds with 50,000+ miles on them.

I only had my Katana for a few months. Prob put around 7,000 on it. Put about 10,000 on the 01 gsxr 750 before I totalled it off the side of a mountain, then I put around 25,000 on my 06 gsxr 750 before selling it. Bought the raider around 5 months ago. Got about 8,000 on it so far.

5k - 10k on a couple of 2 strokes as a Teenager
20k on a Honda Gold Wing from 1985-1992
5k on a Honda Shadow 600 VLX 1997-1998
10k on a Honda Shadow 1100 Spirit 1999-2000
20k on a Kawasaki Nomad 1500 2000-2010
To be determined Yamaha V-Star 950
As you can see I only average 2-3 thousand a year when I have a bike, I hope to up that number a lot since I am retired now.

I have around 2500 on the V Star and I'm guessing about 2500 on a frankenbike a friend built in the 70's and was passed off to me when he upgraded. It was parts of three or four Hondas with a 500 cc motor IIRC. The speedo and odometer were not working so who knows how fast or far?

I have around 50,000 miles experience.
98% of that is on supersport bikes but I enjoy every mile the same no matter what I'm riding.
