Howdy all.
Stumbled across these forums while looking up some info on the Star 950.

I plan to buy one tomorrow. The local dealer has one black one left, and has taken quite a bit off the sticker price, so I'm probably going to bite the bullet, and bring it home.

I'm a new rider. been looking between the 650 and 950, but with the price cut on the 950, I'm sold. It's a beautiful bike, and hopefully being my first, I won't outgrow it too quickly.

I just recently got my motorcycle endorsement on my license a couple months ago after completing the Riders Edge course at the local HD dealer. I originally planned to get a Harley, but came across the VStar line, and realized how much more bike I could get for the money, and brand is not that important to me, I just want to ride.

So, just saying Hi, and hope to visit the forums often.

Be safe!
Brian.

Good choice bro,you won't be disappionted I assure you.
As the 950 is a new model finding out stuff about them other than the usual reviews, yes it's hard.
I myself have only one of sixty purchased here in oz,so info is very hard to by.
Good luck & safe riding
