I installed the kit last weekend and I'm just now getting around to posting about it. It was easy to install. It took me longer to get set up and the bike in the air than it did to install it. My bff helped me out too...:D

I went with the 2.25" stance and I still have about 3" or more from the top of the tire to the bottom of the underside of the fender. I'll have no issues going 2 up @ 2.25" My new seat height is 24.45"

It rides like stock and handles great. I did not lower the front and I have no plans on doing that. Steering feels the same and is not any heavier feeling. Here are some pics. I also removed the belt guard. Looks sooo much nicer now.

Oh btw, I have my buddy making me 1.5" diameter x 12" rise apes with a bend back. I'm hoping to have them by the end of November. Thats gonna look sick with the 54mm forks. Thanks for looking.

before...

after....I feel it could go another 3/4" lower...lol

Looks good. I lowered mine in mid Sept. and haven't had any issues. Went with the 2.25" also. I love the change in the looks. I haven't ridden 2up yet but don't think there will be an issue.

I have noticed I scrape the floor boards more now.

I appreciate your caution on the belt guard, but I've been doing that for years on my old HDs and never had an issue. Its no different than riding with an open primary.

Dont be scared, live a little. .lmao...jk.

Rode a $35k bike with both an open primary and drive belt. No guards on either. Never an issue. Def.. LIVE A LITTLE!!!
Removed the lower on my Raider. Still up in the air weather I want the upper on or not.

Your bike looks great lowered!! Not too many bikes out there dont look better when lowered :)

all good. My dad owns a Stryker Sweet bike, and made me look at the Raider. I tease him and refer to the Stryker as my bike's little sister. But in reality, its a bad machine and a blast to wring out!

Tricky Air Ride group buy going on right now if you are interested. Its slated to end on Black Friday. I got in on the first group buy and got a great deal on mine. We were able to assemble 29 Raider people for it between roadstarraider.com and facebook.

I've got a tricky air setup on my v star for about a year now and I like it allot and would recommend it to others. You can stiffen the shock to ride like a sports car or soften it and ride like a Cadillac. It's also easy to install.
