2003 Vstar 1100 Classic, pipes and pods, after a ride this weekend I thought I was running rich but I fact it's lean instead, I'm running 20s and 150s...question is how jet sizes should I go up to get it richer? Here's a pic of one of the plugs.

The bike seems to run out of power on the high end!

From reading other jetting issues, someone is sure to ask. Stock or aftermarket needles and how many shims are you running?

How many miles on the plugs? You really need 500+ for any sort of real indication and more if you're gas is E-10. Are you getting any other indications that you're lean?

I have 532 on the plugs in the last two rides, I also get a lot of backfiring when letting off the throttle at high speed...yes the AIS is removed.

Just to be clear, I have the screws set at 2 right now, I should have them at 3 or 3 and 3/4 and try that before changing jets, is that correct?
