Just installed the JW speaker 8690M on my 02' FXDWG. Really great headlight. The only complaint is that the high beam is pretty narrow. It mostly just lights up your lane and that's about it. The light overall is very bright and lights up the road and the side of the road extremely well. For $330 I think it is completely worth it. Did not go with the adaptive model because most of my riding is the highway.

Nice. Is that the Adaptive light that changes the side lights as you lean in a turn? How does that work (not the technology but the view)? Also, JW now has "Dual-Burn" technology that has both high and low bulbs lit in high beam. Do you have one of these new ones? I bought a cheapo copy on Amazon from SunPie. I would love to have the dual burn feature on high. I contacted the seller and asked if I could wire the 2 together on high and they suggested it was a bad idea due to heat. Guessing all next gen replacements will have that dual burn.

The one that I posted about was not adaptive. Although after some more searching I was able to find the adaptive version for the same price. I will have the new one installed on Monday and report back. For the non-adaptive, they are $280 on Amazon, $350 for adaptive and $500 for dual burn. From my research, it looks like the light uses a gyroscope. The reviews say it works very well.
