Wondering if anyone has recommendations or reviews for Kevlar lined / padded jeans. Seems like a good idea but always interested in what others have to say.

Thanks,

Adder

I don't wear riding jeans on my commute but do all other times that I'm riding. Blackadder, the jeans I had on Sunday when you were over are Kevlar jeans. I've got a total of five pair. My oldest pairs are 3 and 4 years and will probably retire them this year. Here's a few threads about riding jeans, didn't get much traction, maybe this thread will.

Les, much appreciated. The price of those jeans beats the heck out of anything I've seen on Ebay. 'Course, with my 'hockey buns', I have a hard time fitting into most standard cuts of jeans. I'm a loose or relaxed body style but it probably worth a shot to see if these fit.

Relate question and probably too warm for Houston. Is anyone aware of something like Kevlar 'long johns' / leggings? If not, might be a market opportunity!
