i think i'll put the bike in after riding for a few hours today. the temp was 38 it looks like it's not getting out of the 20s for the next couple months at least, i got to ride the last three years on new years day with temps in the 40s but not this time around i guess

In the early 70's we often rode our bikes on New Years. The temperatures were usually below zero F but the roads were free of snow and ice. It's just like snowmobiling.

intellicast is forecasting the temp here will not get above 20F for the next ten days, so no new years eve ride for me either

but Im not stowing my bike - the gas is treated with seafoam, and I have another 2 gallons in a can. I check the battery every few weeks, might rig up a 100mA tender for it - but if the weather gets above 40F and the streets are clear, I can ride it if I want.
