I had it on the 650 classic. The pouch is removable. I used it to hold my ipod. I used it for about a year, but it doesn't fit the 950. Still in excellent shape.

The dollar bill isn't included, but I put it there for size reference.

Unless it's a phone from like 1986, I'm sure it would be fine. I kept my ipod in it..sometimes wallet and ipod. I put a dollar bill in the one pic as a size of reference.

The pocket says "Hepco and Becker" on it, with a design of some sort...looks like some sort of tree/palm branches of some sort. I'm not sure. It's not scuffed...maybe I'm just not seeing it.
