I am about to put a pair if Kurykan ISO grips on my 2006 V* Silverado. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and if so, do you have any advice or pointers or lessons learned? Thanks and safe riding.
Well, to update the post, the grips are on and everything went fine. Only a couple of things that I would tell the next rider. There is a little bit of play with the throttle side grip so I need to devise a spacer to take care of that (only about 1/16"). Also, the glue provided for the clutch side would not come out of the little bottle. At first I thought is was dried up, but I pried the top off of the bottle and could see it in there. So I just spun the glue around the bar with an allen wrench then immediately applied the grip. Worked like a charm.
