I am getting ready to replace the “original” tires on my 2007 v star 1100. I was a bit shocked to realize these were 16 years old. Anyways, I have run Michelin commanders in some of sport bikes and always liked them. They seem to still be highly regarded and I have decided to order a set for my Star.
My question is, there seems to be two options, a cruiser option and a touring option. Which are you guys ordering? I do a few long trips a year. A few 500 km trips and going to try sturgis this year which will be about 2100 km each way (so 4,200 round trip). Should I be going for the touring? I imagine they are built to last more miles.
