Wonder if they will be lower-seated than the older California? I can't get my feet down on the older models - and if I could I'm not sure I could pick them up they are so heavy. Will have to go see...

I saw this bike in a recent shootout comparison http://www.motorcycle.com/shoot-outs/2013-world-cruiser-shootout-video.

Against it were a Yamaha Roadliner, Harley Davidson Fat Bob and a Triumph Thunderbird. The Moto Guzzi California took the win, followed by the Roadliner, then the Thunderbird and lastly the Harley.

What I found interesting is, the California won mostly for it's more advanced technology (ABS, Brembo brakes, engine design etc). But it was the Roadliner that still shined bright. Possibly if it was not for it's arrested design from 2006, the Yamaha entry may have wiped the table. I guess, some would like to see ABS, perhaps a larger gas tank and a sixth gear on the Roadliner/Startoliner and maybe Yamaha will bring forth an update before it's tenth anniversary. It could then possibly have to step back into the spotlight of best cruiser again.
