Went to the store to get some vegetables to make tacos yesterday.
Here is my experience.
Pulling into a parking spot a lady almost crashed into me.

I could not find a cart.
They were out of white onions and other produce.
Shelves were empty.
Toilet paper, meat, paper towels, water,
Flour, rice, beans, soups all gone.
These people were pissing me off running down the aisles just aimlessly scooping things off shelves into their carts.
Humans are so nice in nature.
Selfish lemmings and don't trust anyone as I have throughout the years.
For your enjoyment!

Right the stores around here are starting to cut back there hours of operation as to clean and restock it’s was crazy for me I went at 6 am on Friday morning and the store was picked over. And why do people think that they need 200 rolls of butt wipes. Also read that the guy who bought all the masks made $30000.00 to$40000.00 that’s crazy.

wish people would stop comparing the coronavirus to the flu. last year the flu had a mortality rate of 0.05% in the US. the coronavirus currently has a mortality rate over 3% in the US and over 30% in Italy. comparing the likelihood of getting sick from something to the likelihood of dying from something is two different things.

Amen Bevo, This thing has just begun and people are not taking it seriously. In earlier posts I have warned people not to take it lightly, it spreads and kills wicked fast compared to the flu and it has just begun. Other countries that took it lightly are now regretting it. Leaders in Italy and Spain are now faced with the decision of deciding who lives and dies because of lack of ventilators with the preference going to the person who will most likely survive. I have also heard that the US has more ventilators but guess what the US also has a higher population and those ventilators might exist but many are being used by patients who are critically ill with other diseases. I am actually going to stop posting about this because people refuse to believe it anyway. Stay safe and healthy brother and I hope we are all still here in the future but statistics indicate not all of us will be.

As we all have seen this unfortunate thing unfold the cases of it are on a very fast rise in my area. Now the restaurant and bars can only offer takeout most thing’s are starting to have limited access it’s not getting any better. As of this morning I’m hearing the age of the people that are getting sick from this is now dropped to the 30 and 40 year age group. So as this progress not sure really who isn’t going to be affected.

Common flu is transmitted person to person. This virus is transmitted from one person to 4 or 5 people at once.

They only tell you about the mortality and not the morbidity rate.
If they want to get control of this, they need to shut down everything in the country for two weeks and have a declaration of martial law.

I guess we will have a wait and see type experience with no real fix for it as of yet. As of right now our state is in many different thought process and trying to figure out the best approach to all of this. At three this afternoon Michigan time all bars and restaurants will be takeout only and numerous employees will be sent home. Not sure what the ramifications will be to are life style and job market and for how long this will take at this point and time. How is this affecting your states and employees what are your state’s doing in response to all of this.

No bar or restaurants closed yet. Shopping malls cutting hours in 1/2. Potowatomi gaming and casino closing. All gatherings of more than 50 people are banned. All schools sports closed. Starbucks going only carry out with app to pay. More closings by the minute. One of my daughters hours cut to 6 hrs a week (retail). Waiting to hear bar closings. In Ireland all the pubs are ordered closed. Shitty St Patties day there. I am hoping this doesn't screw up my Kentucky fishing trip at the end of the month.

The Coronavirus Fatality Rate Reported by the Media Is COMPLETELY INACCURATE. The Actual Rate Is LESS THAN THE FLU

The current estimate for the fatality rates on the coronavirus just don’t add up. The estimates based on current data are completely inaccurate. Current data shows that this virus is much less deadly that even the common flu from the 2019-2020 season.

your gateway attack on the media is misleading and misguided

when people get the flu they stay home, they dont see the doctor, and no one knows they are even sick unless they have serious complications and need to be hospitalized.

then the doctor confirms they have the flu - those are the most serious cases, which is why 10% of the "confirmed" flu patients may die

but the actual percent of people dying overall is the 0.1% - and that an estimate and its all we will ever get.

The death rate for the new virus was reported over 2% in China. But people in china tend to smoke heavily and are generally not in good shape or health.

Over the next few months it might be as low as 1% in the USA, our health care is better than china, esp for the elderly in nursing homes and on Medicare.

Declaring the media is intentionally given false numbers sounds a lot like when people were saying the government was stockpiling coffins that could hold 6 bodies right after President Obama took office, because the Affordable Health Care act was going to lead to millions of people being left to die.

Remember when millions of people were left to die by their AHC doctors?

Me neither.

In the USA 7,000 people die every day on average

If the entire population of 350 million americans is affected by the virus in a year, and 1% dies, then 3.5 million americans will die over the next year

that is 9,600 deaths per day, in addition to the average 7,000

what number are you comfortable with?!

I’m thinking that this has not played out yet by any means and we all should be concerned that are government officials are not representing the whole truths as of yet as for me I’m likely to try and stay away from big groups and as many stores as I can. But there is going to be a time when my fridge gets empty and will have to venture out. That will be for essentials needed for just normalcies like food beer and some gas if the weather gets better around here.

That chart was taken from a CDC website. Here is what was just below the chart:
*Because influenza surveillance does not capture all cases of flu that occur in the U.S., CDC provides these estimated ranges to better reflect the larger burden of influenza. These estimates are calculated based on CDC’s weekly influenza surveillance data and are preliminary.

Just guesses.

Yes it is easy for the media (thegatewaypundit included) to put a spin on anything
