I didn't plan it this way, but as soon as I get an inspection. I am going to be LEGAL!

Here is the problem: I had already drained the tank and carb bowls. But I didn't think about the fuel lines, filter, and pump still have gas in them.
No stable gas additive in the lines, but I have seafoam on hand.

This bike has not been started since MAY, 2020!!

Any suggestions (and pictures! ) Would be greatly appreciated.
I have today's daylight and tomorrow to get this done.

Car plates expired December 31st and car will not pass inspection without $800 in repairs, so bike is getting plates! Hell yes!!!

Bike ran great (up to 40 mph, never drove it faster ) in May.

I have the service manual, but still need help.

HELP!

Don't worry about gas in the fuel pump.
There are no small passages in the pump that can get clogged like in the carbs.
If you want, when you do put gas in it ,pull the fuel line off the carb, turn the gas and key on, and pump a little of the old gas out.

UPDATE:see next post.

Cool, but where does the carb fuel line connect to the carbs?

I have the tank free but still has the speedometer cable attached. Big black air box blocking the view.

I don't want to pump 10 months old gas into my carbs. No fuel additive in the gas PO had in it.

If getting to the carb fuel line connection is a lot of disassembly, where is an easier place to pull the line to get out as much as possible?

Where is the fuel filter??

I know, no planning/preparation on my part. Was not expecting this until income tax refund.

Ok, I need to quit spazzing. Attached pics of fuel filter and REAR carb fuel connection.

Still don't see the connection for the front carb.

That fuel line is the only one.
It feeds both carbs through it.
