Ordered a pair of new Kuryakyn ISO Grips. Any tips from anyone for my first attempt at this. It seems pretty basic but I always tend to run into issues when it comes to DIY stuff. Thought I'd reach out to the experts for their knowledge before I dive into it.
Kuryakyn does make bar end weights, and I'm surprised to see that they are compatible with the throttle boss. On sale right now too. But I don't think I need them, and don't really want the bars to be longer either. I like the look though.

strongly encourage adding a throttle boss. i barely use my fingers when i ride. just let the weight of my hand/arm push down on the grip to throttle on/off. this is the one i have:
