Hello all, I just purchased a new V Star 950 and should pick it up Thursday. Been riding since 1971 mostly on Harleys. This is my first Yamaha. I also have a Goldwing Trike for when my wife is with me. Charley

Hi Charley,

Big change in size and weight of your other bikes. You should like the 950, much smaller and lighter than your other bikes but handles very good and power is not bad at all. You have been riding for almost 50 years, maybe looking for a lighter bike?

Welcome from Alabama. I bought my 950 this month. Love It. It handles so good. I love that it had the mustang seat and cobra pipes when I bought it.
