Well, I was gonna open with comments like "maple leaf Mary" or "mounted bikers unite" .... But! You sir are a great bike builder and deserve more respect and show of American hospitality. So my hats off to ya. Welcome! Oh and hey miescha? I saw that u changed the clause ending to "no Americans" dies this mean our first(and last) ride together will be across the boarder for some French fries and gravy?

Well I suppose I could say I just wanted to encourage more Canadian involvement ...... But I really never look at the signatures (they don't show up automatically when using the iPad app) and I initially forgot about the 'no Canadians' line (which at the late night moment I wrote it seemed beyond hilarious to me, and was originally aimed at Corsair - who had just been anointed a moderator).

So when a newer member asked recently why I had a beef with Canadians, I quickly blamed everything on Corsair and his threats to invade the states! However, considering most members who see the tiny line in my sig wouldn't understand or perhaps even appreciate the humor of the line, I decided to make a change. I chose to exclude Americans first, because "if you can't laugh at yourself......"

that's a nice looking bike, but i can't call it a bobber since it doesn't seem to adhere to what is defined as a bobber. especially with the addition of passing lamps, this seems to go directly against the notion of a bobber which is to take off items to minimize what is needed to run.

I totally agree with you Bevo1981. I would love to go that route, but here in Quebec, cops are on the war path with any modified bikes, and I used the rule book to build this bike and make it Street Legal.
If it was only up to me, the fenders would be gone, and so are the blinker  ...unfortunately, I guess I would have to call my bikes "Semi-Bobbed"! If you are ever interested (just for fun), to have a .pdf of the guidelines in Quebec, you will have a perfect example of interference of the government interfering with the right of free expression in the design of my bikes! Thank you for the comment, much appreciated :)
P.S I am French, hope my English is adequate.
