Hello all - my name is Tom, living in Alaska and currently ride a 2007 V-Star 1300 Tourer. Fairly stock - added a Fuzeblock to handle power and an Autocom to handle the silence. Put on a multi-gauge with time, temp and volts - handy. Wired in a headed gear controller to keep toasty - most of my morning rides to work are in the 40s during the summer. Pulled the windshield off over the winter and replaced with a batwing fairing, wired in a radio for sound, Zumo 550 for directions (get some abuse for that, but it's nice to see an estimated arrival time at your destination when you're tired, cold and have to pee <g>).

Had a V-Star 650 before that - nice bike, but I put a decent amount of highway miles on, and the combo of liquid cooling and wider gearing made the 1300 a nice upgrade.

Bike pics?

No problem :) Rainy pics, but still pics. Seat cover is hiding the Russell Day-Long saddle - best thing ever!

Speaker grills cover the plugs I made and provide a nice solid support for the GPS mount. Small display above the stereo is tire pressure monitor.
