Welcome to the Forums from The frozen North of Southwestern Ontario, Canada .

You'll enjoy the freedom and lightness of the 1300 but first thing i would recommend if it hasn't been done is changing the handlebars to the RSTD bars to make it more comfortable. The 2007 - 2010 bars are wide and don't pull back far enough usually causing shoulder pain.

Enjoy the 1300.. nimble and fun and enough power to run hard on the highway :)

Welcome from another resident of the frozen north, jack. I think you'll find the low center of gravity of the VStars make them very easy to handle. Post a pic if you get a chance - we love pics here!
