Hello everybody,

I am a new rider and just purchased my first bike, a 2007 Yamaha VStar 1300. She's beautiful. I hope to get to know all of you and maybe learn something from you as well.

About 22,000. I've only put about 100 of those miles on it as the weather has not been very favorable yet.
I know the feeling. I bought another bike not long ago and put on about 100 miles before parking it for the winter. Using the winter months to do all the maintenance and modifications. Come on springtime!

I know what you mean!!!!!!! I've been doing some maintenance on it as it sits and then I can't help myself and I brave the 40 degree weather to ride for a few minutes in a parking lot. I've never wished away winter as I grew up in So. Cal in the heat and like the cold, but for the first time I'm looking forward to the warmer months.

So do you sit on it and make engine noises and pretend your cruising down one of the local twisties. Not that i would know annything about that.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA I don't make the noises, but I do visit her in the garage at least twice during the work week. I've been known to talk to her from time to time too!

Welcome aboard! Great choice of rides, I bought one in the fall and haven't even had a chance to ride it! I still have my 1100 on the road so not all is lost! LOL

PS: closer you get to spring you might find yourself sitting on it and making noises! LOL

I have done several non running, non moving burn outs in the garage with no riding gear on. It's cheaper that way you don't burn any fuel and never wear out a back tire. LOL

LOL you are all too funny!!! I haven't had to sit on it and make the noises just yet, the weather was somewhat favorable this weekend, so I rode! This chick isn't afraid of a little cold!!! LOL (At least when it's above 45 anyway)

I'll get some pictures posted really soon. Does anybody know where I can find the post that tells me how to upload the pictures? I saw it when I signed up, but can't find it again.
