I'm looking for a set of quick release sissy bar sides to convert to a set of flag holders. Anyone know of a source? Thanks

Weekend ride report, Really getting used to this machine. All except the engine noise( still bothers me). Did a nice charity ride Saturday, bike did well on a group ride and got lots of compliments. Went to a Bike Blessing on Sunday then took a 120 mile ride with the wife, she loves the Mustang seat. Bike rode 2up very well. Pulled up the mountain roads with ease. Also just ordered a set Hard Krome Double D 3" pipes. Just love the way the sound on my Vulcan.

Those pipes will sound great on the Strat! I have had a set on my Roadstar for 20 years, they still sound great!! Although they do tend to set off car alarms!! LOL

My HK3's have been delivered but have not installed as of yet. For now I plan on keeping the stock aircleaner, will this cause any issues?

With the stock airbox & the HK3s it will run too lean. If you want to keep it quick and easy get the brackets from Ivan along with the K&N filter. His data claimed better gains than the Baron's BAK, but my butt dyno felt the BAK was better. But as I said the BAK or the Patrick Racing filter pods are both more money & more work.

Running lean can do damage from heat plus you will lose performance. I would also recommend either or power commander, cobra ignition module or a reflash from Ivan

Dynojet Power Commander Fuel Controller - FC22012
The Power Commander FC is a new plug-n-play fuel management device pre-programmed with Make/Model specific maps. In addition the Power Commander FC has the added ability to modify or change these maps on the fly without a computer.

Users can literally select between a Power Commander FC Map, custom-built maps, or even fine tune low, mid or high rpm ranges while sitting on the bike and without plugging into a computer. Standard +/- 10% increments from selected map settings, different ranges are available using the supplied Control Center software.

Users can also load up to 10 of their personally built Power maps into the Power Commander FC and select between them while in the saddle - eliminating the need to re-boot with the computer every time a new map is desired.
  • Uses OEM style connectors and high quality wiring harnesses
  • Small, lightweight and easy-to-fit on the bike
  • Pre-programmed with PCFC Power Maps specific to make, model
  • No computer necessary for modifying fuel management
  • Full adjustable computer compatibility for ultimate tuning and personalization
  • Software is compatible with Power Commander, so you can download Power Commander maps to the PCFC Integrated O2 Optimizer where applicable

Note: This unit does NOT work with any of the Dynojet accessories - SFM, Ignition module, shifter, LCD

Included Items:
(1) Fuel injection module with wiring harness
(1) USB cable
(1) Alcohol pad
(2) Velcro strips
(2) Cable ties
Instructions

The Air Resources Board (ARB) does not permit the use of aftermarket emission-related parts that alter the air/fuel ratio of an emission-controlled vehicle. Due to these legal restrictions this part cannot be shipped to California.
Anyone recommend this Dynojet controller
