Hi to all from Buffalo, N.Y.
Just got a 2010 V Star 950 Tourer on Wed. 5/5/2010.
I just love, love, love it! So nice to ride.
Here's some pics of my baby.

I bought the 2009 Tourer and see no differences from the 2010, except for a slight price differential. I love mine, although I haven't had much time to put any miles on it yet ... mine is silver and a great-looking ride.:)

Hey! There are some friendly people here, LOL.
Thanks for saying Hello. I look forward to getting to know
you other Star riders. And trade some info and other ideas.
The 2010 model is the same as the 2009 as far as I know,
maybe less of a color choise this year, but I like the black/raven
it has a bit of metal flake in it.
The trailer is mainly for my grass cutting biz, but the bike
fits on it nicely too. Gonna hual her down to Kentucky for
the Memorial day weekend to visit with friends, they have a
Harley Fatboy, but now I know I can keep right up.
Thanks again, see ya'll later.

Hello, nice bike. Just bought a roadliner a couple of months ago. I love the look of the 950's but i like the grunt that the liners have to offer. Keep the shiny side up!

Although it it sounds awesome with the roadhouse exhaust I mean torque. I ride 2 up a lot and around the Finger Lakes is pretty hilly so if you don't have the torque your shifting a lot. Plus the liner has shear size(8 1/2 feet end to end) so we are both pretty comfortable on it. I'm sure the 950 can handle it, the liner just handles it better, and I'm used to power on demand as the bike I just sold was an 85 V65 Sabre which is an absolute powerhouse. Look me up if you ever make it down to the finger lakes area.
