Can someone help me identify these aftermarket pipes? The previous owner couldn't remember the brand. I would like to sell them or figure out a way to make them quieter. Excuse the dirt. The bike has been sitting for a few years. Thanks for the help.

Welcome from Placerville California. I don't know what that exhaust is, but I do have OEM mufflers from a 2007 v-star 650 classic. I tried to sell it a couple of years back, but no takers. So, I wouldn't charge, you would have to pay the shipping. I think you would have to get the head pipes though.

Thanks, I will keep you in mind.

why would one need new headers if they were gonna reinstall oem pipes id assume new crush gaskets are needed but unless current headers are rusted why replace?

He is showing full exhausts, not slip ons. Mine are OEM mufflers without the headers, so they would need them. If you know something that I don't, then....
So, I would still need to purchase these.

Something similar at least. I don't know if they are exactly the ones you would need. Just remember, you don't like the noise you currently have, but these are REALLY quiet. That's why I couldn't sell them, because nobody wants their bike THAT quiet. I also can't see if you have aftermarket air too. If you change to OEM mufflers, you may have to re-jet the carbs, but maybe someone here can give you advice on that, it's not in my purview.

Good catch I completely overlooked that part
I may try to insert some universal baffles. I live in a residential neighborhood and come home from work at 6am. I don't think my neighbors would appreciate hearing my bike at 6am every morning. I already rebuilt the carbs. I think the jets are stock but the needle has been changed. I bought the bike not running.
I bought a cheap chinesium set from ebay. The front pipe was a twat to fit. I complained to seller and they refunded me and I got to keep the pipes. Suddenly they fit with a little bit of leverage 😉. I've done about 600 miles and both the baffles have blown out 🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn't recommend these if you want to keep the neighbours sweet
