I want to adjust the back shock on my 650 but I don't have the "special" tool. The numbers are barely visible but there.

#1 Where can I get the "special" tool? Do I really need one. Channel locks didn't work....
#2 What is the reference point to know which number you are on?
#3 What number do you like? with and without a passanger.

I got mine from the dealer.

The tool comes with the bike. It's in the little tool pouch under the seat unless someone has lost it.
