I searched but I cant find a "how to" for an oil change on a vstar 650 classic....any ideas? Thanks.

Hate to be a bother, but the instructions in the manual I downloaded weren't very clear. Is the oil filter cover on the passenger side with the 3 allen bolts in it? 3" round one? I took that off and there's just more bolts behind it and they look like they're the center bolts for the clutch cover.
Anybody mind taking a pic for us super noobs?

Sugar Bear is not a tech picture takin guy, but any Yammer I ever dealt with , it's on the right side(sittin on it) the 3 allen screws sounds right, don't know what you saw when you took off that plate

Clutch spring replacement how-to

I read the Barnett clutch spring replacement how-to and it showed the location of the oil filter with the complete housing off. I guess I just figured that when I remove the outer cover with 3 allen bolts, the oil filter would be exposed. There's more bolts under it that need to be removed, correct?
I did look over the manual 3-18, and it shows some sort of housing removed. Will that housing come out the hole exposed by removing the 3 bolt cover plate.
Ridiculous questions I'm sure and anybody having to ask these will probably feel ridiculous after having done an oil change on their bike, but I wanna baby this thing and do all my own maintenance...ya know?

Look on page 4-34 or 141/360 of the .pdf. It shows 2 covers. The 3 bolts round cover and another with 5 bolts.
