Hi all, just joining the forum.
Made a big change recently from Kawasaki ZX7R to V-Star 1100 - couldn't be happier... Pictures soon...

Hi BacknSaddle, looks like we are almost neighbours... I'll definitely ping you. I did look at meetup, which group in particular?
BTW, I need some help with backfire after modding my stock exhaust. Know any others locally that did that?

Welcome!

As for backfire, probably need to disable (or remove altogether) the AIS. Disable take all of 3 minutes with a set of pliers. A quick sear h will turn up directions with pics.

Ride safe - and don't forget the pics!

Yep, tried the AIS trick - didn't work. I mean still getting backfire. Probably need to adjust the carbs but I don't feel comfortable doing it myself.
