Accidentally posted on another guys thread. My apologies.
What I mean to say was:

Another newby here. Last October, at the ripe old age of 53, I decided I needed a cruiser. I took the safety class, got my license, and bought me a shiny new 2009 V Star 650 Custom. It was beautiful. It was perfect. But it was a little too light in the wind, and a little underpowered for what I wanted.
I looked at aftermarket exhausts and air filters etc., but finally decided, "What the hell....," so two weeks ago, I brought home a shiny new 2009 V Star 1100 Custom....just in time to turn 54.
Now that's more like it.....!
Still getting used to it, but am sure loving it so far.
Now I'll be relying on all of you to help me find the right direction for all the things I'll be doing to it in the future.

All that said, a big howdy from an Irish cowboy in California.

Hi Paddy
Welcome to the forum, there seems to be a lot of guys on here around about your age mate, don't let it bother you one bit. Enjoy your new ride mate and post up if there's something you are not sure about or plain just don't know. Someone will have a view on it and if its a problem you have 2 heads are always better than 1 and you will have a lot more than 2 heads on this forum

Thanks for the greetings, y'all. I appreciate it.
I live in a SoCal beach town, and had a nice little ride this morning before the raving hordes come to town for the holiday weekend. There is great peace on the back of an iron horse....!
What a nice international flavor this board has! French, English, Aussie, Okie..... (just kidding).
Anyway, hope y'all are well and for the Yanks, have a great Fourth of July weekend.
