I just ordered a set this week from the local (sort of) Yamaha dealer from the V Star assy cat, I run an 06 Silverado. If the price holds true that he quoted, it will be a little over 200 for the set. 140+ for the floorboards and 60+ for the mounts, I ordered a set that match mine, the rider floorboards. I looked around and could find cheaper ones, but that's what they were, cheap. From the shops and dealers I thought the Yamaha prices, while plenty, were not all that out of line with what I know will be a quality item. Ride Free, Ride Safe:D

Floor boards

I see they are located in Hong Kong. I have ordered some batteries direct from Hong Kong on E Bay. they turned out to be OK. Things evidently are much cheaper there. One reason the Yamaha floor boards cost more is they come with mounting hardware, Evidently these use the mounts for the foot pegs.

Don't know anything about these never saw a pair. So you take it from there, just a couple of things I noticed.

I too noticed those, and it makes me weary. I'm leaning on spending the money to make sure mamma's feet are on a solid platform. I'll probably opt for Yamaha's with the proper mounting hardware.

Just trying to save a nickel or two... :D

Roadstar boards will give her more leg room

I have a 08 Silverado. I'd like to add passenger floorboards to help make the wife more comfortable. I know Yamaha’s are pretty pricey, and I saw these on eBay.

The low price makes me think its not made very well... What is the forum's consensus?
I installed a set that I bought on EBAY on my bike last summer. I didn't realize that they were for a Roadstar not a VStar. I had to slightly modify them to make them work which ment drilling and tapping a new hole for the mount but the offset these have will give your rider more leg room.

I bought a set of Yamaha original Star passenger floorboards from ebay, it was from a Yamaha dealer who discounts big. Look under Yamaha in ebay stores and you may find him. Sorry but I forget the name, saved about $65 though and they came with the mounts.
