I am picking up a Road star this weekend having been riding an 1100.
It is an 2008 Silverado with a power Commander module and Vance and Hines pipes. Any suggestions for mapping this or settings?
I have a touring box that is black that I would like to install and paint the grey color of the bike. Can we get spray paint for our bikes?
The bike has 13K on it. Anything I should be looking at maintenance wise at this mileage?
Anyone else go from a 1100 to a Road star that can offer some opinions of the move up?

looking forward to the group and this great site.0:)

Thank you afaycasaym, great site and led me to the exact color I need.
Just brought the bike back from upstate NY and rented a U-haul trailer which worked out just fine. Took it for about 14 miles and it ran nice. Different ride than the 1100 and the wind dosen't push it around much. Cornering was a different feeling, but like it alot.
looking forward to tips and ideas on this site.

Very cool and congrats on the new bike! I have two Roadstars and have accumulated a lot of parts and accessories. Let me know if you're looking for anything, and I'll make you a great deal. If I ever end up with another Roadstar, it will be fuel injected. Nothing at all wrong with carbureted bikes, but for some of my travels and elevation changes a fuel injected bike would be nice. Love to see some pics.

how was cornering different, you mean more effort at speed? or just unsteady at slow speeds? both?
