What is the recommended/maximum picture size? I was going to post a picture of my bike, but, I got a notification that I needed to resize my picture.

To post pictures I use imgbb

Just open, start upload, choose picture, upload, copy full bb code. There is not a limit size restriction. Try it and let me know how it works for you.

If I drag and drop a photo to the box below the text window, the picture is resized automagically.

It’s very easy and gives you a larger pic with HD resolution if the picture has it.

These are all good suggestions! Just keep in mind that the maximum dimensions are 620x280. If you stay within those limits, you should be just fine.

depends on how you're trying to post it. as an attachment, there is a limit. but if you paste the URL of the image like this:

then you don't have to worry about size restrictions.
