Good afternoon everyone! I need help!! I have a 2005 Yamaha Vstar 650 classic and I a no spark issue.
What I've done so far
(1) check main line fuses
(2) replaced coil pack, and checked for spark by grounding to the bike but still no spark when bike turns over
(3) checked for continuity in stator, I have continuity in the stator
The last thing that there is to check is the CDI box which is what I don't want to be wrong but I fear it is. Would any of you have a wiring diagram to be able to check each point one by one to see if there I do indeed have a faulty CDI box. If I do have one after checking is there a place that would be able to repair them. Because buying a brand new one is gonna be insanely expensive.

It may be a faulty pickup coil which sits inside the stator. There is a simple test to see if it falls within spec by disconnecting a couple plugs under the seat and testing with an ohmeter. A Clymer or shop manual is is indisposable . There is a way to download the shop manual from this site. By coil pack, I don't know if you mean ignition coil or pickup coil.

had a pickup sensor issue myself with a 2003 Triumph i had... luckily the shop was cool enough to get Triumph to cover the CDI box under warranty way back then, even though it was probably just out of warranty and on her second owner, but yeah, it wasn't the box. pickup sensors act just like CDI boxes when they fail and are super cheap.
