I have a 650 Classic, with Yamaha windshield, V & H Cruzers & jet kit. I am considering lowers and wonder if there would be any noticeable difference ?

I had an 1100 V Star classic with Yamaha chrome lowers. I noticed less turbulence behind the windshield and a little less air on my lower leg.

Lowers come in a variety of aftermarket configurations and are great for long hauls and tours. Try to get more info on the net as to which ones are easiest to install and remove and which one hold up well. The metal ones from Yamaha hold up well, but others provide more protections--Good luck! I put on a set of Memphis Shades,that a Yamaha dealer told me I couldn't do, on my 1100 with a stock windshield and worked out great, very happy with the setup, knocked a ton of turb off.
