Just tested both the Show Chrome and the Amazon LED modules with a power supply. The Amazon LEDs have awesome light distribution, they seem to be very good, and I'm not talking very good for $60, but generally very good. I don't know what the catch is, but I'm happy.

Show Chrome modules don't have a good light distribution at all, very bright spot in the middle and no sharp cutoff - as expected with reflector housings. I will try and use them on my Suzuki S40.

Far from a millionaire, lol. It's just that I learned over the years, often when you buy cheap products, you pay twice when you have to replace them after they fail prematurely. The market is flooded with all sorts of LED products, and unfortunately many of them are absolute junk. So far the Chinese LED that I bought seem very nice, with nice output and cutoff, once I have them installed, if they last and work properly, I am not looking to spend $$$ to replace them with more expensive product.

How do I run the cables from the battery to the lights, underneath the tank? Does the tank need to be removed?

Fish tape. But I had better results removing the tank.

clip them to the front signal running lights in the bucket , nice clean short run, if you want them keyed on and off with

correction i splice into the light power wire it thicker, the signals i use for my led strips since they don't use to much power, the stereo is also in there somewhere

They won't overload the wire?

You should use a proper wiring harness wich includes an inline fuse, relay and switch. Hooking into your turn signals sounds sketchy at best.

i actually got them splice into the headlight wire (its bigger)with inline fuse and my led strips and skull into my signal constant power wire, it all fits nice in the bucket and i have had no problems. i used these, to me they seem nicer than the scotch locks, more compact comes in "T" and straight, i got them from ebay though found them for cheaper, i splice into the power wire put an inline fuse and used bullet connectors to split the power to each light, ground to the bucket this is just what i did works fine for me, might not be suitable for you

Installed the Show Chrome buckets onto my trusty little Suzuki S40, and I absolutely love them. They really compliment the look of the little bike, and given that they are smaller than standard 4.5" buckets, they do not look out of place. Also, they are very bright and provide the much needed extra lighting. I'll take some more photos when it gets dark.

It is assembled finally, also with Harley turn signals swapped in with Kuryakyn Tracer LED inserts. Going to install shortly.

Now that I have the driving lights, I think I am going to swap a yellow lense for the Denali aux lights, essentially turning them into fog lights.

Yes, red bike, but I don't fancy these red headlights. They might look cool at first, but quickly lose the appeal. Classic chrome always looks great, I gotta take some day time shots once my new headlight arrives and I finish the bike.

True, but some dealers do still have old stock. I bought one last year from a dealer in Missouri (I'm in NC). My local dealer was kind enough to give me a list of dealers still showing inventory. Gave me a great deal, as it had been collecting dust for several years (got it about half-price).

I dont need the OEM anymore since I already install the Show Chrome kit. It is probably better than OEM.
