Looked in other forum areas and can't find topic.

On 2006 RS 1700A, I have little to no rear brake when pedal pushed. Before I go tearing into it, just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue. Fluid level is good.

I know how to bleed them, just making sure that shouldn't forget this and replace something.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Check your brake pads, if they have over 1/8 of an inch, bleeding them should fix.
Also on a motorcycle of that weight 75 percent of your braking is on the front brake. The rear is for after you have slowed down.

I had a issue where the pedal would not pump up hard. A master cylinder rebuild was needed. I usually like to hone the bore but didn't have one that small. At the same time I put organic pads on the front and ceramic on the rear. I don't ride in the rain much so I don't usually get the sintered steel, they eat rotors
