Hi froski,
I do not have much trouble with the oil filter. Screw on is a bit easier and convenient. The thing that I find strange is the smaller filter used in the V Star 650 is twice as expensive as a bigger screw on filter that you can buy from Harbor Freight. I see that you are running an after market exhaust on your motorcycle. Now that must be really LOUD with no mufflers at all.
