I've used rain-x quite a bit, plexus works and any decent brand wax will also work. Be sure to use a micro fiber cloth as I learned the hard way when using paper towels. They made the windscreen look cloudy afterwards. Just my experience though.

Rain-X has a caution on the bottle about using it on plastic windshields and face shields. It seems to me I tried it many years ago with no ill effects, though. I have never tried Lemon Pledge, but I have seen it recommended on other forums.

I use the rain-x more on the cars than the bike. After I went with a fairing on my 950t, I switched to a wax because the short windshield on the fairing was easily scratched. Most any decent bike shop should have what you need, or ebay and amazon can get what you need.

I have best results using car wax. Works great and makes it easier to clean. I commute daily and ride in more rain than I like.

just use a paste wax and go heavy with it. i use turtle wax one heavy coat lasts about a week but i ride hundreds of miles a week, if you ride less it will last a lot longer is the windshield acrylic or polycarbonate ( lexan ) added benefit of hiding minor scratches too. i have fog off spray for my face shield tried it on the lexan windshield it worked only for a very short time like an hour at best

I use this. Made in America. Safe for glass or plastics. I even use it on my phone screen. Their glass cleaner is top notch and pairs well with it.
