I like the RF1200
The only problem is Shoei dropped the ball in not incorporating a drop down visor. At this price point that's unforgiveable.

Good point.
I've never thought about that.
I have an HJC IS MAX ll with the flip down visor that I really like, but the ventilation is nonexistent. Maybe the drop down visor is the reason.

Then I assume that the RF1200 has better ventilation then the Neotec ll. Is that correct?

I believe so, yes. Notice that the upper vents of the Neotec II located higher than that of the RF-1200 meaning that the former cools down only the top of the scull.
