Hello all.
I just ordered Vance and Hines Short Shots. Any body got any feed back. I read the ratings and 28 guys think they're great but loud. I really wasn't after loud, just the looks and performance. Any one got experiences to share?

Great performing exhaust system

I have a 2005 Silverado Classic 650 and they look great on the bike. However, be prepared to be challenged when installing these pipes. The bracket to connect the pipes to the frame is a real &*@# to get on. I drilled the holes out on the bracket that bolts to the frame to give me just a little more adjustment. I also suggest that if you don't really want the load sound, leave the baffles in. I took mine out just because I had to see the difference and it actually hurt my wife's ears when we were rolling down the interstate at 70mph. Its a real good sounding pipe, I love mine. Good luck.

I've got these pipes. They are not that loud, not quite as loud as a Harley but sound great. had to off the AIS system and shim the carb. needles, (Mines a 99 V-Star Classic) but they are not like straight pipes.
I'm brand new here and can't figure out how to post. Having trouble with my neutral switch.
