I want to be able to swap between a solo set up so that when I don't have anyone on the back(99.9% of the time) I don't have to have the passenger seat and back rest on. I was going to buy the non tourer eyebrows(like in the below video). But those are stupid expensive and its more parts to keep track of. So what I was going to do is get some nice chrome sockets as spacer and remove the factory tourer eyebrow/fender stay, and place them as the spacers. Then I got the idea to flip the eyebrow/fender stay upside down. Shortly after that I thought... I wonder what they look like when I swap sides. And that's how I have them now. Now I'm gonna design my own rear luggage rack instead of paying 180 bucks for a aftermarket one.
I saw this vid and knew right away that's the final look I want my bike to have:

Here is some shots of what I have done. The batwing is on the way and I'm going to build my own engine bars.

Any more pics of the lay down license plate? Any pointers of how you did it? I would love to do it to mine.

All I did was gut it of all the extras and put a cut at a 45 right where it bends to stand up then I bent it down. I'm not done it yet, there is still some trimming to do, but its definitely solid and works.

There is also this method. I may start over and do this because its cleaner than mine.

That's the link I used to do mine and here's some pictures to show how it turns out.

It really cleans up the back end.
I had a flat frame that I just added a little curve to help it blend better.
Walmart has them in the auto accessory section.

The Alberta plate is the oddest size out there. I'm building my own frame out of thin gauge 1" wide aluminum. I'll post pics when I'm done. I want to find some led bolts now.

Yup scrap aluminum hanging around the shop. Friend with tig machine. Then I'm gonna polish it up to shine, or paint it.

Thanks for the info, next project is too lay the plate down. I was out today for a short ride and caught my plate with my coat and knocked it right off LOL
Note to self: never use plastic bolts to hold plate on!:D

Well, I couldn't take the billboard licence plate any more so I made some changes. Thanks for the great ideas and pics. I still have some tweaking let to do, but for now it looks a lot better. Hopefully the pics show enough detail.

Very nicely done, really cleans it up.
Love the plate cover!
I don't know if your going to put your sissy bar back on, but I read about a biker turning the eye brows upside down and stitching sides to hide the sissy bar bracket when not in use.
Just a thought, and I'll shut up now.

I almost bought the regular brows but I still take the odd passenger and my nieces once in a while. If not for that I would have changed them by now.
