Hey Guys I am new to the star forum
I have a 2000 Yamaha V Star 650 that stalls when it gets hot. It will start and ride perfectly for around 30 min then the idle slows and the bike stalls. If you twist the throttle it will rev up and you can maintain and ride it. Also it will start right back up
WHen I bought this bike it ran perfect, super smooth, then the carbs started to leak. So after reading some forums I thought my floats were stuck, so i turned my fuel off and ran the bike to drain the carbs, then I tapped in the float bowls(this didn't fix it) as a matter of fact my bike ran a little rough from this point on
Recently I had my carbs cleaned with new needle and seats new float bowl gaskets also my tank has been cleaned new fuel filter and my valves have been adjusted.

Help Please I really want to ride my new bike

can vapour lock happen in a fuel filter
Also does it matter how the fuel lines are routed?
The mechanic may have ran them differently
