I've decided to try a set of stock headers and mufflers on my 2004 Vstar 650 Custom. I have a nice set of Vance & Hines Short Shots on it right now. They're not awfully loud, but the neighbors don't like them.
I'm also wondering if the backfiring on deceleration, might be partially due to the pipes. Don't know if the previous owner did any tuning, when he changed them over.
Anyone interested in a trade for the Short Shots?
