Some say ride it like you stole it right from the beginning, others say baby it the first 1000 miles. I subscribed to the latter, sort of I sure didn't go by the manual that is way too low a mph to shift.
Welcome to the forum from southwestern PA. Just don't be doin any burn-outs for a little while. As long as your not too heavy on the throttle, shift when you think you need to shift.
Hi Dog, welcome to the forum. We'd love to see some pics of your strat. I agree with everyone else, shift when you need to. As the engine revs, you'll know when. Ride safely!
