Stupid Question ...

Is there a definite way to tell if my v-star is a 1100. The guy I bought it from said it was a 1100 but, I feel like it should cruise at 70 at a lower rpm. I can't find anywhere on the bike that says the engine size. I just want to make sure the guy did not con me.

Thanks,
Drew Walden

Someone with more knowledge can give a better answer but, on my 1100 @ 70 it's cranking some pretty good rpm's. With no tach I don't know what it may be. What you are hearing could very well be normal. Just a little input here.
Should be a frame sticker on one of the down tubes or by the sidestand.
The serial number will have jya??11?xxxxxxxxx. also the oil filter is hidden behind the front exhaust pipe.
Hope this helps
I found the sticker, it is a 1100. Thanks everyone!
