Till late evening for a great ride. Maybe a Guinness record ??
Oklahoma City Memorial benefit riders break Guinness World Record | KTUL
the annual 9-11 rally in ct drew 2,300 riders last year. this year it falls on the exact date of 9/11 so their talking about limiting riders to no more than 5,000. bystanders said bikes were going by em for almost 40 min last year. imagine how long 5,000 bike would take. all the intersections were closed for 40 min last year imagine get caught for over an hour in a car at the side streets and intersections this year

for me a run is mostly unescorted, like poker runs. a rally can include a "ride" which is generally escorted., but i'm just generalizing because i go on scenic rides that are unescorted.

We did the Memorial ride 1st, then did a poker run to raise more money. The Memorial gets no money from the gov't it's all run on donations. All the money raised to register for the ride and the poker run was donated to the Memorial and the Museum. It was a Beautiful day.
I had heard we were 10 people short of the Guiness record but people were saying that at some intersections they were waiting a hour.
